Dr. Angelo is the President of Pacific Forensic Psychology Associates – SHARPER FUTURE. Dr. Angelo began his working career in the world of manufacturing working as a Quality Assurance Manager for a national manufactured housing company. During that time he became interested in statistical process control and eventually sought out a certificate program in Total Quality Management-Statistical Process Control, which he completed through The University of California Riverside.

During his tenure in manufacturing he instituted a company training department and eventually trained company supervisors in statistical process control measures that led to significant process improvement and drastically reduced warranty rates. Although this was a very satisfying experience his true passion remained in working with and better understanding people. His curiosity of  people and culture was deepened by his travel, including the many years that he spent living in Jamaica in his early twenties. This led to his returning to school and completing his doctorate in clinical psychology at Loma Linda University.

Initially, he anticipated working closely with families, however, a practicum placement at SHARPER FUTURE forever changed his focus and the course of his life! He was immediately fascinated by the forensic work and the challenge that it presented. During his time at SHARPER FUTURE he has held nearly every clinical position, including the role of clinic coordinator, staff clinician, director and regional director. In management he discovered that he found the perfect combination of his desire to help people, while incorporating his training in process improvement and business. Dr. Angelo describes his clinical training as a combination of dynamic theories, CBT and he recently completed training in EMDR therapy.
